Is the free plan really free?
Yes. Every weekly essay is free to read, always. There's no metered paywall or free-trial countdown. The Member plan is for readers who want extras and want to directly support the work.
Can I cancel my membership?
Of course. Cancel any time from your account dashboard and you won't be charged again. You keep Member access until the end of your billing period.
How does the gift subscription work?
After purchase you'll receive a gift link to send. Your recipient claims it, creates a free account, and immediately gets 12 months of Member access. No recurring charge for you.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay via Stripe. Invoices available for annual plans on request.
